Davis Riley took the lead at the Charles Schwab Challenge after waiting out a rain delay and finishing the 36-hole event with a bogey-free 6-under 64, reaching 10 under overall. Riley was two strokes ahead of Hayden Buckley and Pierceson Coody, who both shot 65s. The tournament featured notable performances from Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth, with Scheffler making a strong comeback and Spieth finishing with a second-round 67. Davis Riley's only PGA Tour win so far was the Zurich Classic team event last year.
