The Golden Lancehead snake found on the forbidden Ilha da Queimada Grande island in Brazil has venom that is five times stronger than other mainland snakes. The island is strictly prohibited and requires special permission and medical personnel due to the high concentration of these near-million-dollar snakes. The venom is so potent that it can 'melt human flesh,' with a high fatality rate even with immediate treatment. Attempts to capture these endangered snakes for the black market are ongoing despite the risks.
