Debate Over Priority Seating on Public Transportation in Taiwan

Reported 8 months ago

The priority seating, known as '博愛座', on Taipei's MRT system has sparked a debate on 'intergenerational conflict' as incidents of disputes over giving up seats to those in need have occurred. However, progress on amending the law to prioritize 'actual individuals in need' has stalled due to legislative setbacks.
