In a horrifying incident in the early hours of June 10th in Banqiao District, New Taipei City, a 19-year-old man surnamed Chen was abducted and brutally assaulted by six assailants, resulting in his death. The main suspect, a 21-year-old surnamed Wu, turned himself in claiming a debt dispute of 30,000 yuan with Chen. The case is being investigated as causing death by injury, with details awaiting clarification. After assaulting Chen in a remote area, the suspects left him in front of his employer's house in Banqiao, where he was later found unconscious and pronounced dead despite medical efforts. Five suspects have been arrested, while Wu surrendered at a police station in Miaoli after evading authorities for almost half a day.
