In Taipei, a man was fined 70,000 NT dollars for ambushing a friend's house to collect a long-overdue 100,000 NT debt. He used a crowbar to assault the debtor, sprayed chili water, and ended up being charged with assault and intimidation. Even though he managed to retrieve some money, most of it had to be used to pay fines. The incident stemmed from a long-standing debt dispute where verbal insults led to a violent confrontation, resulting in injuries and legal repercussions.
