Since taking office, Defense Minister Wei-gur Le-xiong has implemented various policies, including the cancellation of traditional bayonet training and reporting leave for military personnel. However, due to subsequent strategies, the directive was only changed in form, resulting in grassroots military personnel being unable to enjoy this benefit. In response to this issue, Wei-gur Le-xiong has once again requested during an internal meeting to 'not add any additional restrictive regulations.' The directive on reporting leave for military personnel was revised after concerns were raised regarding its effectiveness at the grassroots level.
