Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian announced that the global outages caused by a CrowdStrike update disrupting Microsoft Windows systems could cost the airline $500 million, primarily in reimbursements to affected customers. The airline is contemplating legal action against CrowdStrike for the operational disruptions.
