Reported by FTNN News on June 14, 2024, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) launched an AI robot 'ChatDPP' to respond to related information amid the heated debate over expanding parliamentary powers in Taiwan. However, a test by Kuomintang legislator Chen Jinghui found that ChatDPP made significant errors in its responses, including endorsing the party despite numerous nonsensical answers to other inquiries. DPP's attempts to clarify controversial bills through online and offline channels have faced criticism due to ChatDPP's bizarre responses, sparking widespread discussion among netizens. In response to the backlash, a DPP spokesperson stated that the ChatDPP platform was overwhelmed and temporarily suspended due to a large influx of users, promising improvements to the system.
