The Danish government recalled three spicy chicken noodle products on June 11, claiming that the capsaicin content is too high, posing a risk of acute poisoning. The products are from South Korean company Samyang Foods. The recall includes fiery chicken noodle soup, 2x spicy stir-fried noodles, and 3x spicy stir-fried noodles. Capsaicin, found in spicy sauces, can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea if consumed in large quantities. Samyang Foods is investigating the issue and advises consumers to discard or return the products to the store of purchase.
