The team is considering Michael Blackstone of the New Orleans Pelicans as a potential replacement for Weaver. Weaver leaves behind a roster without a franchise star but notable draft picks like Cade Cunningham, Killian Hayes, Jaden Ivey, and Ausar Thompson. The Pistons hold the No. 5 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
