In the PLG championship series second game on June 12, 2024, the New Taipei Kings continued to struggle with scoring, managing to only score 23 points in the first half. After a dismal performance in the previous game where they only scored 5 points in the fourth quarter, the Kings faced another low point in this game, shooting 2 out of 19 attempts in the second quarter and scoring just 7 points, trailing significantly at halftime with a score of 23-41 against the Taoyuan Luxgen Yulon Leading Monkeys. This halftime score set a new record for the lowest score in the league's postseason and championship series, breaking the previous record of 24 points.
