Contemporary performance artist Jin-Hua Shi from Taiwan passed away at the age of 60 following a motorcycle accident on June 28. Shi, who had type 1 diabetes since he was 17, used his daily blood sugar testing and insulin injections as a major inspiration for his art. Known for series like 'Stroke,' 'Men with Pencils,' and 'Measurement,' Shi's death occurred in a crash that was not captured by surveillance cameras, with details still under investigation. Shi's gallery, Android Art, where he collaborated for 15 years, plans to hold a memorial exhibition in his honor in the future.
