High-risk groups identified include adults over 50, individuals with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, COVID-19 patients, those with irregular lifestyles, high stress levels, and immunocompromised individuals. Diabetes patients are advised to be vigilant in prevention as the infection can lead to severe nerve pain and complications, affecting daily life and increasing hospitalization rates by 63%.
