Reported 12 months ago
A diner and his wife encountered a 2cm long medical needle while eating at a roast meat eatery in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, with the restaurant blaming the residue on upstream vaccine administration. Although the Health Bureau found no foreign objects in the ingredients during an inspection 6 days later, the diner criticized the delayed check and questioned the restaurant's continued operation without halting sales or inspecting ingredients after the incident on June 12. The eatery was issued an improvement notice for hygiene deficiencies.
