During the DIOR opening party in Da'an District, Taipei on June 25, 2024, Jay Chou and Kim Ji-won attracted a large crowd of fans. However, a Da'an Police Station police car accidentally hit a Mercedes Maybach S560 rented by the event organizer while attempting to remove illegally parked vehicles. The police officer failed to engage the parking brake, causing the car to slide backwards and collide with the luxury vehicle. Local police handled the accident according to procedures. Jay Chou mentioned at the event that he is preparing for a concert in August, which has now freed up his schedule.
