The National Land Agency announced that after over 8 years of effort in promoting Taiwan's residential policy, it has laid a certain foundation. By the end of this year, the direct construction of 120,000 public housing units will be accomplished. As of June 30, a total of 103,838 public housing units have been directly constructed nationwide, with the central government completing 55.1% and local governments 46.9%. The central government's achievements continue to surpass those of local governments. In the future, under the 'Million Rental Housing Family Support Program,' the goal is to steadily increase by 15,000 units annually, with a balanced distribution of public housing based on the concept of living circles to better meet the daily needs of the people.
