A male individual went missing after swimming at Taichung Port on June 26th, and today the Taichung Port Authority Fire Department discovered a body at Pier 97, confirmed to be the missing delivery driver Mr. Lai after identification by family members. The case has been reported to the Taichung District Prosecutor's Office for investigation. Mr. Lai, a 34-year-old delivery driver from Taichung, was reported missing on the 26th, and authorities found CCTV footage of him swimming at the port before disappearing. The Port Authority Fire Department conducted an extensive search operation involving 9 boats, 152 personnel, and 10 drones, leading to the discovery of his body. The case is now passed on to the prosecutors for further inquiries into the cause of death.
