Around 7:45 PM on June 12, 2024, a man named Lin drove a van carrying the owner Xu at fitness center established by Taiwanese internet celebrity Gym Boss Chen in Beitun District, Taichung City, climbing 7 floors to crash through the gym's gate, terrifying the people inside. Lin was allegedly upset for missing a job interview at the gym and was arrested by the police. Further details of the incident are pending clarification by the authorities. This incident comes after Gym Boss had survived a shooting attack in 2020, dealing with severe injuries and ongoing pain.
