Walt Disney and DirecTV have reached a new agreement that restores programming, including college football and other major networks, for over 11 million DirecTV subscribers who had previously lost access. As part of the deal, subscribers will enjoy a more flexible range of genre-specific programming options and will also have access to Disney's streaming services. This agreement is particularly timely as it precedes the highly anticipated Emmy Awards broadcast.
