Disney has reached an agreement to merge its Hulu + Live TV service with FuboTV, forming the second-largest digital pay-TV provider in North America with 6.2 million subscribers. The new entity will be 70% owned by Disney and will maintain both the Fubo and Hulu + Live TV brands. The deal also resolves previous legal disputes between Fubo and Disney regarding a separate streaming platform, Venu Sports. This merger aims to enhance consumer choice and strengthen Fubo's financial position.
