Walt Disney may be required to pay an additional $5 billion for Comcast's 33% stake in Hulu, should independent appraisers concur with Comcast's valuation of the streaming service exceeding $40 billion. An arbitration process is ongoing to determine the stake's worth, with a decision expected in fiscal 2025. Disney had previously agreed to acquire the stake for at least $8.6 billion, but the final amount could fluctuate based on the appraisal outcome.
