On the evening of June 22, 2024, a group fight broke out on Da Cheng Road in Yangmei. Three men, aged 33 and 17, were dining at a restaurant when they became discontent with the way the boss and employees were speaking, leading to a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. The police were alerted, and after the conflict, the three men were taken into custody and referred to the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office for investigation on charges of disrupting public order and intimidation. One of the men surrendered when he saw the police, and suspected explosive materials were found in a vehicle related to the suspects. The incident stemmed from dissatisfaction with the conversation heard while dining, causing a conflict that resulted in legal consequences for the individuals involved.
