A physical altercation broke out in a Kaohsiung MRT train carriage when a 23-year-old man refused to give up a priority seat and even extended his legs to the adjacent seat, angering two other passengers who then scolded him. The situation escalated into a physical conflict, with the man on the priority seat eventually being removed by the police due to his agitated state. Two other passengers involved in the altercation were summoned by the police for legal actions. The man occupying the priority seat had a disability card and was reported to have injured one of the passengers during the scuffle. Despite no immediate complaints, the police have taken legal actions against the 45-year-old and 58-year-old passengers involved.
