Reported 9 months ago

A 62-year-old woman, known as 'Amitabha Sister' for often singing Buddhist chants loudly in major night markets in northern Taiwan, was involved in a serious accident. While riding her bicycle on Yonghe Zhongzheng Bridge in the evening of June 26, she was hit from behind by a motorcycle, causing her to suffer a fractured left wrist, multiple abrasions, and disfiguration. Both parties incurred vehicle damages. Following investigation, it was determined that both the woman and the 20-year-old motorcycle rider were not under the influence of alcohol. The surveillance footage indicated that the collision may have been due to the rider's failure to pay attention to the road ahead.
