The Los Angeles Dodgers have added utility man Cavan Biggio, son of Hall of Famer Craig Biggio, to their lineup by acquiring him from the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite recent struggles at the plate, Biggio's versatility in playing various positions and being a left-handed bat fills a gap in the Dodgers' lineup, especially with Max Muncy's injury. The Dodgers traded Braydon Fisher to Toronto in the deal, while outfield prospect Miguel Vargas was optioned to triple A Oklahoma City to make room for Biggio. Biggio expressed gratitude for the opportunity and is hopeful for a fresh start with the Dodgers.
