Despite Shohei Ohtani's standout performance with two hits, stolen bases, and timely baserunning, the Los Angeles Dodgers failed to capitalize, ultimately losing 7-3 to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Ohtani's efforts were not enough to offset the lackluster pitching of Gavin Stone and the team's struggling lineup, resulting in their fifth loss of the month. While Ohtani's contributions stood out, other Dodgers players like Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman failed to perform, leaving Ohtani to carry much of the load in the defeat.
