As Taiwan is about to welcome an ultra-aged society in 2025, with the aging population, there will be an increase in health issues such as urinary incontinence. A survey conducted by the Taiwan Continence Foundation and global incontinence care leader brand TENA revealed that over 52% of people over 40 in Taiwan have urinary health concerns, with 25% being unaware and 27.2% already struggling with urinary incontinence. The survey also highlighted misconceptions among individuals about their urinary health, especially in women, indicating a hidden prevalence of urinary problems in Taiwan. It emphasized the importance of early medical assistance and proper management methods for urinary incontinence, which could be caused by various underlying health conditions.
