In Taichung, police stopped a suspicious individual only for them to flee on foot, leading to a chase where a citizen lent their motorcycle to an officer and another citizen rammed the criminal down a gate in aid of the pursuit. The escaped individual turned out to be a foreign worker who had been missing for a year, and with public and police cooperation, they were successfully apprehended.
