Dongfeng Electric makes a significant breakthrough in the electric vehicle power system, as its Indian subsidiary, TEMICO, secures a major order from a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer. The contract involves providing direct drive power systems for 5,000 9-meter and 12-meter electric buses, as well as power systems for 50,000 light commercial vehicles, with production and delivery set to begin in the first quarter of next year. This marks a crucial advancement for Dongfeng in the Indian market, with plans to continue localizing production and expanding market share to promote Taiwan's electric vehicle industry overseas.
