On July 4, 2024, Donghai University views generative AI as a core strategic weapon for advancing towards the future university and actively promotes comprehensive development strategies by integrating AI into administrative services, environmental setup, and teaching development. Together with ASUS and NVIDIA, they have established the first AI NB teaching area in Taiwan, resembling the CNN news war room in Atlanta, USA. Donghai also plans to collaborate with Han's Aerospace to promote aerospace artificial intelligence education. Various departments have integrated 70 professional teaching courses with AI and introduced generative AI-based training courses, culminating in the inauguration of the 'Yuchai AI NB Classroom' in partnership with ASUS and NVIDIA, featuring the introduction of the first AI NB classroom with NPU neural network computing units in Taiwan.
