Due to the influence of a vigorous convective cloud system, Taipei City upgraded to a 'downpour special report', resulting in rapid and heavy rain causing leaks both indoors and outdoors at the Taipei Dome. Far Eastern Group mentioned that the outdoor sunken plaza with an immediate rainfall of 70 millimeters led to insufficient drainage, causing water seepage and pooling. They plan to review and add drainage systems. Additionally, during recent roof gutter inspections, instant heavy rain caused a waterfall effect, prompting drainage pipeline improvements. Apologies were extended to affected citizens and sports fans for the inconvenience caused by the heavy rain.
