Starting on June 14, the DPP will hold 'anti-abuse of power, protect democracy' campaign events nationwide following citizen protests over the push for the Legislative Powers Act by the KMT and MPP. Lin You-chang urged citizens to contact their district legislators to hold them accountable and stand on the side of supporting public opinion. The DPP aims to deepen Taiwan's democracy through these activities, with numerous events planned in different cities until June 20. They stress the importance of understanding the expansion of powers and defending democracy against rushed decisions.
