The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has launched an 'Anti-Abuse of Power, Protect Democracy' campaign across Taiwan starting June 14 to increase public understanding of parliamentary reform bills. The first event took place in the constituency of Kuomintang caucus convener Fu Kun-chi (Hualien), followed by visits to the six major cities where party members and legislators engage in discussions and share insights. The campaign aims to educate citizens about recent events in the parliament, promote their own political demands, and gather support from the public. Through online platforms and live broadcasts, the DPP aims to reach and mobilize supporters, while offline discussions and town hall meetings are planned to discuss parliamentary reform and seek societal support and recognition.
