Following the enactment of the Parliament Reform Act, President Lai Ching-te, the Executive Yuan, the DPP legislative caucus, and the Control Yuan successively applied for constitutional interpretation and temporary injunction, with the constitutional court set to start on the 10th. Speaker of the Legislative Yuan Han Kuo-yu convened a cross-party negotiation on how to appoint representatives, and ultimately, the DPP softened its stance, signing and agreeing to the negotiation conclusion. The parties decided that the litigation representatives would be recommended by the KMT legislative caucus (2) and the Taiwan People's Party (1).
