Reported 8 months ago

During a recent inquiry session, New Taipei City councilor Chen Nai-yu wore Huang Jen-hsun's signature black leather jacket and criticized the city's AI development as fake, alleging that the Education Bureau's AI white paper only involves hardware procurement, stating that 'no AI in New Taipei means a bleak future'. In response, Mayor Hou Yu-yi expressed efforts to attract Nvidia to settle in New Taipei. The councilors advocated for substantial measures to enhance AI education in schools and attract international tech giants such as Nvidia, with a focus on the central district of Banqiao as a potential hub for technological and economic growth.
