The DPP central headquarters recently hosted the global headquarters of Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) and youth representatives from 12 countries, led by Chemi Lhamo, the chair of SFT. The DPP greeted the group with the Taiwan national flag alongside the flag representing the Tibetan government-in-exile. Presidential Office Spokesperson Li Wen also participated, emphasizing Taiwan's solidarity with movements advocating for freedom and democracy in Hong Kong, Tibet, and among the Uighurs. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation among international youth leaders advocating for human rights and democracy, underscoring the values of freedom and democracy.
