DPP Initiates Second Phase of Anti-KMT Campaign to Educate Young Generation on Local KMT Factions

Reported 12 months ago

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has launched the second phase of its 'anti-party-state restoration' campaign following the push for the Legislative Yuan Power Exercise Act by the Kuomintang (KMT) and the People First Party. The DPP aims to counteract by educating the younger generation about the KMT's restoration of party-state system and the collusion of local factions in emptying Taiwan. Over 150 anti-corruption and pro-democracy events have been held nationwide, along with efforts to highlight the risks of authoritarian rule. The DPP emphasizes unity against Chinese threats and the need to combat illusions of cooperation with the Chinese Communist Party. The campaign targets traditional green supporters who have become disillusioned with the KMT and the People First Party, emphasizing the importance of informing them about the influence of local KMT factions.
