DPP Legislator Huang Chie Confronts KMT's Threat of Anti-Recall: Not Afraid, It's Not the First Time

Reported 8 months ago

During a legislative session on June 16, Legislator Huang Chie questioned Hu Chia-ming at 9:06 am. The Legislative Yuan is set to vote on amendments to the Legislative Yuan Powers Exercise Law and revisions to the Criminal Code on the 21st. To explain their ideology, the DPP has been holding public lectures for three consecutive days. Huang mentioned that the KMT threatened to counter-recall 5 DPP legislators if the public initiates the recall of KMT legislators, but she emphasized not being afraid, as it's not the first time. She criticized the KMT's focus on wanting to dominate rather than serving the people, urging the public to understand the malicious nature of proposed bills related to investigations. Huang also challenged specific KMT and People's Party legislators seeking mayoral positions, warning not to support them if they persist in supporting the controversial bills.
