According to a CTWANT report on June 20, 2024, DPP legislator Hsu Chih-chieh stated that the blue-white pattern has shrunk and expressed no concern over the successful recall of DPP legislators Wu Si-yao and Wu Pei-yi. After the third reading of the parliamentary reform bill, tensions between the blue and green camps continue to escalate, with calls for recalls of legislators emerging, including from a section of the KMT. However, KMT legislators are not taking it lightly and are looking to retaliate in the event of recalls, with the names of DPP legislators Wu Si-yao and Wu Pei-yi being mentioned. Hsu Chih-chieh revealed that there are seven blue legislators with only a '3% margin of loss or win' on the recall list, and even those who narrowly won in the 'three Ka supervision' situation face the possibility of recall. Hsu believes that with the shrinking support base of the People's Party, if a vote of no confidence were to succeed, resulting in a full parliamentary election, he is confident that the DPP will have a majority. Regarding the potential recall of Wu Si-yao and Wu Pei-yi, Hsu stated that these 'Green Warriors,' who won under the blue-white-green tripartite situation, are battle-hardened and therefore not worried about being recalled. He emphasized that if six blue legislators were successfully recalled next year and all DPP by-election candidates were elected, the DPP would have 57 seats, making them the largest party in parliament, effectively securing a majority.
