Following the failure of the parliamentary reform reconsideration, DPP Legislative Yuan caucus convener Ke Chien-ming stated that they have drafted a constitutional interpretation request and an emergency injunction request, but members will not participate in the verbal arguments. Former legislator Lin Cho-shui questioned whether Ke's decision is equivalent to denying Green Party legislators the chance to present rational arguments and exhibit constitutional discourse. Ke further elaborated on the reasons for the request and criticized the potential collaboration between the blue and white camps and China, highlighting it as a national security issue. Lin expressed puzzlement at Ke's decision and criticized it as avoiding the opportunity for DPP lawmakers to counter arguments actively, similar to debates involving previous figures like Hong Chi-chang, Chen Shui-bian, Lin Chia-lung, and Koo Kwang-ming.
