On June 14, 2024, at around 11:00 am, a driver surnamed Huang was caught driving in the wrong direction on Taichang 3rd Street in Taoyuan. When police noticed, he sped off and hit a motorcyclist while trying to escape. He even abandoned his friend and was eventually trapped in the traffic, where he was intercepted by the police. Drugs and syringes were found in the car. The reckless driving led to a series of events where the friend was abandoned after trying to exit while the vehicle was moving, and the driver ended up in police custody facing drug charges.
