A small truck in Chiayi fell 100 meters into a deep valley on June 8, 2024, leaving the driver trapped and injured. The fire department responded to the scene and promptly rescued the injured driver, providing medical treatment. The detailed cause of the accident is still under investigation. The driver was driving through a section of Zhuzhi Township when the accident occurred, with unclear reasons for the fall. The driver, a 41-year-old man, was conscious but sustained multiple injuries. Firefighters used ropes and a stretcher to assist in the rescue operation.
