In Taipei on June 28, 2024, a driver caused a traffic dispute by attempting to make a right turn at a restricted time under the bridge near Huanhe North Road. After waiting at the intersection for about 30 seconds, the driver finally let others pass but responded by making an obscene gesture out of the window, leading to a defamation complaint by a following driver. With new traffic regulations coming into effect on July 1, drivers are reminded to obey the rules to avoid penalties and suspensions.
