In Taichung on June 26, 2024, drug dealers were caught operating brazenly by leasing a residential home across from a police station as a drug trafficking base. Three suspects were arrested by the police with a search warrant, while another 28-year-old man was caught trying to make marijuana cookies out of curiosity. The police raided the house, surprising the suspects who were nonchalantly watching videos in bed, and seized drugs worth up to 900,000 NT$. The suspects' bold actions of ignoring the police station right across from their rental location led to their downfall, showcasing that even the most audacious criminals cannot evade the authorities' watchful eyes.
