In New Taipei City, a habitual drunk driver was caught by the Datong District police in Taipei City, with a strong smell of alcohol emanating from him and a rice wine bottle placed visibly on the motorcycle. The man, surnamed Li, was uncooperative, lied about the ownership of the motorcycle, and was later found to have stolen the vehicle in Shulin District before being arrested for drunk driving and theft. Despite a criminal record involving drunk driving, Li had the stolen motorcycle returned to its rightful owner, and the case will be transferred to the district prosecutor's office after investigation.
