On the evening of June 25th, in New Taipei City's Yonghe District, a dispute arose when veteran entertainer Long Tianxiang refused to pay a taxi fare of 420 yuan. In a state of intoxication, Long became verbally abusive towards the police during the incident. The following day, accompanied by his agent, Long visited the police station with a gift to apologize for his behavior, mentioning that both his son and daughter-in-law are police officers and that he had been scolded by his son for causing trouble while under the influence of alcohol. Long explained that his refusal to pay the fare was unintentional, attributing it to being overly joyful while catching up with an old friend.
