On June 24th in Nantun District, Taichung City, a 41-year-old man named Liao caused a commotion in a convenience store by verbally harassing a female customer, leading to a conflict with an employee who intervened. Liao attempted to physically assault the employee but was stopped and later fled the scene. Police found Liao in a hospital restroom, but due to no physical harm caused, the employee chose not to press charges. Liao claimed he was only trying to intimidate the employee and denied harassing the female customer, stating she was 'ugly.' The incident serves as a reminder to seek help from authorities in case of violent conflicts.
