In Kaohsiung, police discovered a 66-year-old man driving erratically without headlights and suspected of drunk driving. The man, identified as a wanted criminal under the Commercial Accounting Act, initially pretended to cooperate with police but then sped off, eventually crashing into a road sign. Despite the man's attempt to flee, he was apprehended and found to have accumulated fines totaling NT$20,680 for 6 violations, including evasion, dangerous driving, and running a red light. Police emphasize the importance of complying with checks instead of risking evasion.
