Danish logistics company DSV has won the auction to acquire Schenker, the rail logistics arm of Deutsche Bahn, for roughly €14 billion ($15.43 billion). Despite opposition from union representatives regarding potential job losses, the transaction is set to be finalized in the coming days, pending approval from DB's supervisory board. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for DSV, positioning it as the world's leading freight forwarder and elevating it above Swiss group Kuehne und Nagel.
