Billionaire Hussain Sajwani's Damac Group is set to invest approximately $3 billion to establish data centers in Southeast Asia, targeting Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. The project, expected to take three to five years, aims to enhance the region's digital infrastructure for AI and cloud services. Edgnex Data Centers, a subsidiary of Damac, plans to utilize Nvidia chips in their facilities, while also exploring opportunities in Vietnam and the Philippines.
